Front-load your primary keyword

Amazon and Google both weight the first 40 characters of a title most heavily. Put your main search term before your brand name, not after — the algorithm reads left to right.

Include the differentiating attribute that closes the sale

Color, size, material, and quantity all influence purchase decisions. If 'BPA-free' or '32oz' is the detail buyers filter on, it belongs in the title.

Write for mobile truncation first

While platforms allow 150–200 characters, titles over 70 characters get cut on mobile. The most important information — product type, key attribute, brand — must appear in the first 70 characters.
